Debra Gail Lambert

Debra Gail Lambert, 65, of Cheyenne, passed on December 29, 2022 with her husband, daughters, son in law and grandchildren around her. She was born in Cody, WY on December 23, 1957, to Bill and Billie Ann Lucas.  Debie attended Hastings College, and was an avid knitter, spinner of yarns, seamstress and weaver. A long time member of the Society of Creative Anachronism (a medieval recreation group) she was renowned for her ability to feed hundreds of people multi-course medieval feasts or create warm and filling food for large groups on primitive campsites. She was a loving mother and grandmother. She and Mike Lambert, her husband of 43 years not only loved each other deeply but were also each other’s best friend. She is survived by her father Bill Lucas, husband Mike Lambert, her daughters Aubrey Porter and Megan Lambert and Aubrey’s husband Travis, her grandchildren Brody and Brooklyn Porter and her sister Marcia Bruegger and her husband Mark. She was preceded in death by her mother and her niece Krista Bruegger.

Family and friends will hold a memorial service in late January.
