Delores Jean Spangler

Delores Jean Spangler passed away on March 6th 2023 in Cheyenne. She was born on Nov. 2nd 1939 in Louisville Kentucky.

Delores married Bobby Spangler on March 15th 2005.

Delores loved to laugh and make everyone laugh around her. She was a loving Mother to 4 Children. She would always say “All I wanted to be was a Mother” She was the best Mother a child could have. Delores had a big heart and would do anything for her children or anyone else that needed help. Delores worked as a CNA for Mountain Towers, Life Care, CRMC Hospital and Home Health Care in Cheyenne. Delores loved being around people and helping them in any way she could. Delores loved to do embroidery, paint ceramics, listen to country music and watch western movies with her husband Bob. She also loved to collect any kind of Angel. One of her greatest joys was being a Grandmother and Great Grand Mother.

Delores is survived by her husband Bob Spangler of Cheyenne, Son Tom (Mickie) Meares of Cheyenne, Daughter Teri (Colin) Moriarty of Maricopa AZ., Daughter Nicole (Ryley) Hatch of Cheyenne, Son George (Melissa) Meares of Cheyenne, Sister Phyllis Jones of Omaha NE. and brother Kenneth Jones of Casper. Delores has 8 Grand Children; Cody Meares, Apryl Meares, Brandan (BrIe) Moriarty,

Brennah Keller, Zakk (Haley) Keller, Emily Meares, Norah Meares and Charlotte Meares and 5 Great Grand Children and one on the way.

She is preceded in death by her parents Philip and Lucille Jones, her late husband George Meares Sr. and sister Annie Myers.
