Dianna Mares

July 16, 1949 — February 21, 2018

Dianna M. Mares, 68, of Cheyenne, Wyoming, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, February 21, 2018, following a long but valiant battle with breast cancer. Dianna was born July 16, 1949, in Wheatland, Wyoming, daughter of the late Gerald and Marjorie Cozad. Dianna enjoyed caring for her home and was passionate about art. Her faith in the Lord was unshakable. She will be remembered as someone who never new a stranger and was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. Dianna is survived by husband, Kirk Mares; children, Christine LaLonde, Charlie Lovett, Lisa (Tony) Redding, Heather (Daniel) Sanchez and Jacob (Kim) Mares; nine grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. A memory service will be celebrated on Saturday, February 24, 2018, at 3:30 p.m. at the Lakeview Chapel at Schrader, Aragon and Jacoby Funeral Home. A reception will follow at Schrader Reception Center.
