Dolores K. "Dos" Johnson, 83, of Chugwater, Wyoming, passed away Wednesday, October 28, 2015, at Cheyenne Regional Medical Center. Dolores was born July 20, 1932, in Duluth, Minnesota, and was raised in Coleraine, MN, along with two younger sisters, by her aunt, Dolly Armundsen, a recognized kindergarten teacher for four generations in Coleraine. Dolores graduated from Greenway High School in Coleraine, Class of 1950. She raised four amazing children, Kurt T. Carlson of Silver City, NM, Candace Carlson-Smith of Signal Mountain, TN, Carol A. Defa of Cheyenne, and Kristin Carlson of Grand Junction, CO. She retired a few times, first from Zions Bank in Salt Lake City, UT, and later from Walmart in Murfreesboro, TN. Dolores and her husband, Jesse Johnson, shared over 30 great years together in Utah, Tennessee, and in Chugwater since 1997. They traveled all over the United States, including Alaska and Canada, and to Sturgis every year until she was 80. Dolores was a breath of fresh air and full of life to all who knew her. Her love, humor, character, advice, party sense and no mincing of words will be missed dearly by family and friends. Cremation is under the direction of Schrader, Aragon and Jacoby Funeral Home, Cheyenne.
