Donald M. Desaire, Sr., 79, of Cheyenne, Wyoming passed away September 8, 2021 at the VA Medical Center in Cheyenne.
He was born April 23, 1942 in Damar, Kansas to Leo and Violeta Deloris Desaire. He married Nancy Lee Harp on October 21, 1961 in Dallas, Texas. He was a veteran, having served in the US Air Force and was the chief housing inspector for the Housing Authority for the City of Loveland, Colorado. He was a member of St. John’s Catholic Church in Loveland.
He is survived by his children, Don (Julie) Desaire, Jr. of Cheyenne, Monica (Marvin) Baudendistel of Loveland and Matthew (Lauren) Desaire of Loveland; siblings, Arlinda McLaughlin of Pinedale, WY, Richard Desaire of Salina, KS, Marva Gill of St. Marys, OH, Leland Desaire of Hutchison, KS, Martin Desaire of Salina, KS, Jonetta Petty of Salina, KS, and Karyl Wilson of Salina, KS; 18 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Nancy Desaire; and siblings, Michael Desaire and Marrilene Divelbiss.

A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, September 17, 2021 in the Lakeview Chapel at Schrader, Aragon and Jacoby Funeral Home in Cheyenne with interment to follow in the Cheyenne National Cemetery.
