Donald L. Farris passed away at home on March 27th, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love, dedication, and service. Born on June 10, 1945, he embarked on a remarkable life journey.
On September 21, 1968, he married the love of his life, Cheryl Doggett, and they shared 56 incredible years together.
Don’s bravery and selflessness shone through his service as a veteran of the United States Army. Shortly after returning home, he married Cheryl, beginning their lifelong adventure together.
As a devoted employee of Husky/Holly Frontier Refinery, Don demonstrated unwavering commitment, retiring after an impressive 53 years of service.
His passions were a testament to his creativity and enthusiasm, as he delighted in collecting John Deere tractors, pocketknives, old brass bells, and tools, a reflection of his remarkable talent for fixing anything.
Don’s love and legacy live on through his beloved wife, Cheryl, their daughter, Connie Farris, grandson Curtis Ingels (Kailynn Ingels), granddaughter Francesca Ferreira, and tow grandsons, Ivin and Taygen Ingels. His memory will continue to inspire and uplift all who knew him.
Don was proceeded in death by his parents, Bill and Bernice Farris, his brother Dennis Farris, his sister Linda Detweiler, his son Jerry Farris, his mother-in-law Margil Doggett, and sister-in-law Penny Juschka.
