Donald V. Flint, 80, of Cheyenne died August 13, 2014 at the Veteran's Affairs Hospital. He was born March 8, 1934 in Barre, VT to Herbert and Ada Flint. He married Elizabeth Burder on November 25, 1961 in Barre, VT. He retired from the U.S. Air Force as a Splice Tech and supervisor on the Hardened Intersite Cable System with the 2149th Comm. Squadron. He was a member of the Presbyterian Church and was an organizer for the communication squadron reunions. He was also an avid fisherman. He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Flint of Cheyenne; sons Mark (Sandra)Flint of Sherwood, OR, Paul (Tracy)Flint of Sandy Hook, CT and John Flint of Cheyenne; grandchildren, Scott, Kassandra, Tristan, Conner and Sydney Flint. He was preceded by a son, Scott Flint and his parents. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may contribute to the Wounded Warriors Project. Visitation will be Thursday 10:00 a.m. to noon in the Lakeview Chapel at Schrader Funeral Home, 2222 Russell Ave. Cremation will follow and interment of his urn will take place at Fort Logan National Cemetery.
