Donald D. Pruter, 84, of Cheyenne died January 22, 2016 at Davis Hospice Center. He was born April 11, 1931 in Natoma, KS to Everett and Dorothy Pruter. He was a truck driver and served in the Army during the Korean Conflict. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, American Legion Post #6 and Moose Lodge. He is survived by his children, Mike (Peggy) Pruter of Cheyenne, Ken (Cindy) Pruter of Omaha, Vicki (Ron) Cooper, and Cathy (Dean) Peck of Cheyenne; sister, Elaine Lewis of Osborne, KS; 11 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren He was preceded in death by his parents; one granddaughter, Lindsay Pruter; and siblings, Arvin Pruter, Betty Corwin, Everett Pruter, Jr., Neola Cordick, Leonard Pruter, Ron Pruter and Roger Pruter. Those who wish may contribute to the charity of their choice. A celebration of Life will be February 8, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. in the Schrader Reception Center. Cremation has taken place under the care of Schrader, Aragon and Jacoby Funeral Home.
