Dora Carmen (Gonzalez) Juarez, 83, of Cheyenne, Wyoming, formerly of Wheatland, Wyoming, passed away Friday, August 28, 2015, at the Davis Hospice Center. Dora was born October 18, 1931, in Wheatland, a daughter of the late Felix and Librada (Morales) Gonzalez. Dora worked as a CNA for Platte County Memorial Hospital. She was an active parishioner of St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Wheatland, and she enjoyed scrapbooking and painting. Her greatest enjoyment was spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Dora is survived by five children, Ginie Gonzalez-Gilman of New Hampshire, Ray Juarez of Wyoming, John Juarez of Kansas, Christine Melgosa of Georgia, and Daniel Juarez of Kansas; two sisters, Rosemary Apodaca and Delores Niefert; 18 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Debbie Rae Fiorini; and seven sisters, Amelia Sanders, Angie Cancino, Lucy Campos, Virginia Sanchez, Eva Apodaca, Hope Aguina and Mary Juarez. A Vigil for the Deceased will be held on Monday, August 31, 2015, at 6:30 p.m. at St. Mary's Cathedral. A Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated on Tuesday, September 1st at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary's Cathedral with an interment service to follow at the Wheatland Cemetery.
