Doris Jean Boone passed away on April 24, 2024, in Cheyenne, Wyoming. Born to Vestal and Rassie Watson on November 4, 1929, in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, she was an avid golfer, bridge player and quilter. Doris had lived in Summerfield, FL for 15 years prior to moving to Cheyenne in 2016, to be closer to her family.

Predeceased by her husband, Monte Boone Jr. and infant son, Jeffery, Doris‘s memory will be cherished by her sister Frances; her children, Monte III, (Mary Alice) and Jean (Bob); her grandchildren, Kelsey (CJ) and Bryant; and her great-grandchildren, Treyson, Kyren and Kinleigh.

In honor of her request, there will be no services. She will rest eternally in Mt Airy, North Carolina, with her husband of 66 years.
