Dorothy Olmstead

Dorothy F. Olmstead, 79, of Sun City, AZ formerly of Cheyenne, died April 23, 2011in Sun City, AZ. She was born December 30, 1931 to Ivan C. and Mae Willis in Millikin, CO. She married Richard Olmstead, on April 3, 1948 in Kimball, NE. She is a member of the First Congregational Church. She is survived by her children, Patricia Weaver (Marvin) of Colorado Springs, CO, Richard (Cheryl) Olmstead, Jr. of Lancaster, CA, Sandee Carr of Sun City, AZ, Linda (Rick) Wilcox of Cheyenne, Kenneth (Debra) Olmstead of Mesa, AZ and Cathy (Pedro) Melendez of Rapid City, SD, 16 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Olmstead on March 9, 1995; her parents, Ivan C. and Mae Willis; 4 brothers and 2 sisters. A memorial service will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, June 4, 2011 at the First Congregational Church with Reverend Kevin Frank officiating. Interment will follow in Lakeview Cemetery. Those who wish may contribute to the American Society for pancreatic research or Hospice of America for Hospice of Arizona. .
