Dorothy Pruter

Dorothy L. Pruter, 81, of Cheyenne died December 29, 2016 at LifeCare Center of Cheyenne. She was born May 24, 1935 in Natoma, KS to Hubert and Eula (Marcotte) Rathbun. Before retiring she was an office assistant for Global E Mobile Home Park. She is survived by her children, Mike (Peggy) Pruter of Cheyenne, Ken (Cindy) Pruter of Omaha, Vicki (Ron) Cooper, and Cathy (Dean) Peck of Cheyenne; her mother Eula of Natoma, KS; brothers, James (Virginia) Rathbun, Leonard (Joan) Rathbun, Arthur (Charlene) Rathbun, KS; 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father Hubert Rathbun; one granddaughter, Lindsay Pruter. Those who wish may contribute to the charity of their choice. A Celebration of Life will be Friday, January 6, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in the Schrader Reception Center. Cremation has taken place under the care of Schrader, Aragon and Jacoby Funeral Home.
