Dorothy Steege

July 16, 1928 — March 27, 2014

Dorothy G. Steege of Burns passed away March 27 at Cheyenne Healthcare. Dorothy was born July 16, 1928 in Iowa to Floyd and Vona Byers Dorothy worked for many years at the Antelope Truck Stop and was a long time member of Immanuel Lutheran church. Above anything else she enjoyed spending time with her family. She is survived by her daughter Kari Clark of Burns, son Gary Steege of Burns, Lois Brookshier of Cheyenne, and Bill Steege of Nampa,ID; 3 sisters Lucille Goudie, Margaret Wright , and Wanda Seidl all of Cheyenne; four grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Harold, 3 brothers, and a sister. Services will be 2pm April 10th at Schrader's Funeral Home with Pastor Kenneth Mars officiating. Interment will be at Lakeview Cemetery.
