Douglas W. "Doug" Brooks, 47, of Cheyenne died July 11, 2011 at Cheyenne Regional Medical Center. He was born February 5, 1964 in Cheyenne to Leroy and Phyllis N. Brooks. He was a pipefitter in the construction industry. He is survived by his parents, Phyllis and Jimmie Nicodemus of Cheyenne; brothers, Norman Brooks of Portland, ME, Gregory Brooks of Burbank, WA and Liel Nicodemus of Enumclaw, WA; two nephews and one niece. He was preceded in death by his father, Leroy Brooks. Services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday in the Schrader Chapel. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Schrader Funeral Home and online condolences may be made at www.schraderfuneral.com.
