Douglas Ford

Douglas T. Ford, 53, of Cheyenne, Wyoming, died on Friday afternoon, September 27, 2013, at the Davis Hospice Center after a three year battle with liver cancer. Doug was born on November 10, 1959, in Cheyenne, to Max S. and Marilyn Joan "Jo" (Wilcoxson) Ford. Doug worked as a plumber in the Seattle, Washington, area and was a union member of Local #32. Doug is survived by his daughter, Hanna Jo Ford of Seattle, WA; his mother, Jo Peterson and step-father, Laurice Kay Peterson, of Cheyenne; his sisters, Susan Ford Godbee (Craig) , of Perry GA, and Cynthia Leigh Peterson-Provost (Jean-Francois) of Hillsborough NC; nieces, Alisha Godbee, Sheridan Godbee, Wope Provost and Anais Provost (Xavier) of France; nephew, Julian Provost; great-nephew, Maori; aunt, Yvonne O'Brien; cousins, Shannon O'Brien and Lori Behn; his ex-wives, Colleen Ford of Seattle, WA, and Kathleen Hutchinson of Salt Lake City, UT; his very special companion, Carolyn Spicer of Cheyenne; and his puppy, Cinnamon. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Sarah Ford; his son, Ian Ford; and his father ,Max Ford. Visitation will be held on Monday, September 30, 2013, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Schrader Funeral Home. A funeral service will be conducted on Tuesday, October 1st at 2:00 p.m. at the Schrader Chapel with The Reverend Roger Rapp officiating. A reception will immediately follow at the Schrader Reception Center.
