Duane Olesen

Duane H. Olesen, 90, of Cheyenne passed away on November 1, 2018. He was born in Audubon, Iowa on October 18, 1928. Duane was a World War II veteran. He attended Iowa State University and graduated with a degree in electrical engineering. He spent the next two decades working in aeronautical engineering. In 1980, he and his late wife, Joan, formed their business, JDD Associates. After retirement, he was active in his local gun club and volunteered with Wyoming Senior Companions. He is survived by a daughter, a son, a brother, three grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. Private family services will be held. Cremation is under the care of Schrader, Aragon and Jacoby Funeral Home.
