Dustin R. Ferguson, 19, of Cheyenne, Wyoming passed away January 7, 2020 in Wichita, Kansas.
Dustin was born October 2, 2000 in Julesburg, Colorado, son of Lisa (Braun) Land and Robert Ferguson.
Dustin completed his first semester at McPherson College in McPherson, Kansas, where he was studying criminal justice and sociology and hoped to work for the Federal Bureau of Investigation. He worked numerous part-time jobs and enjoyed construction. His primary interest was playing baseball and attended McPherson College on a baseball scholarship. He also enjoyed spending time with friends and making people laugh with his goofiness. Dustin recently enlisted with the Kansas Air National Guard and hoped to work with cyber security.
Dustin is survived by his mother, Lisa Land and husband, Jeremiah; father, Robert Ferguson; three siblings, Delaney Ferguson, Cadance Land and Calgarie Land; three step-siblings; and numerous grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by a step-brother.
A memory service will be celebrated on Friday, January 17, 2020 at 3:30 p.m. at Cheyenne Evangelical Free Church. Cremation is under the care of Schrader, Aragon and Jacoby Funeral Home.
Services are entrusted to Schrader, Aragon and Jacoby Funeral Home, 2222 Russell Avenue, Cheyenne, WY 82001.
