Edward Chapman

Mr. Edward Lee Chapman, 92, of Cheyenne, Wyoming, passed away Saturday, July 6, 2013, at the Cheyenne Healthcare Center. Lee was born March 20, 1921, in Ft. Collins, Colorado, a son of the late Edward M. and Eva Lena (Widdows) Chapman. Lee enlisted in the United States Marine Corps and served honorably during World War II. He owned and operated his own candy wholesale business for more than 30 years. He will be remembered as an excellent photographer and as a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend. Lee is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Marjorie (House) Chapman of Cheyenne; two sons, Russ Chapman of Cheyenne, and David Chapman of Cheyenne; and six grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents; two daughters, Leslie Shattuck and Terri Frazier; two brothers; and two sisters. A private family graveside service will be held at Cheyenne Memorial Gardens at a later date. Cremation is under the direction of Schrader Funeral Home. Expressions of sympathy in Lee's memory may be made to a charity of one's choice. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Schrader Funeral Home, Cheyenne.
