Edwin A. Samuelson, 84, of Thermopolis, Wyoming, died May 29, 2013 at Wyoming Medical Center in Casper. He was born September 11, 1928, in Cheyenne and had lived in Wyoming all of his life. Ed was a superintendent for P.S. Cook Plumbing and Heating for over 30 years before taking a job with the State of Wyoming to oversee the Construction Management Division. After retiring from the State, Ed owned his own business in Cheyenne before moving to Thermopolis in 2002 to relax and pursue his favorite hobby, fly fishing, full time. Ed is survived by his two sons, Mike Samuelson (Rosemary) of Longmont, Colo. and Peter Samuelson of Thermopolis; his daughter, Lynn Yaquinto of Chandler, Ariz; a brother Charles (June) of Cheyenne; and five grandchildren, Shawn Samuelson (Peggy) of Salida, Colo., Chris Samuelson (China) of Rio Rancho, NM, Justin Yaquinto (Christina Howard) of Portland, Ore., Nick Samuelson of Longmont, Colo. , and Cari Martin (Vernon) of San Tan Valley, Ariz. He was preceded in death by his wife of 53 years, Zula Samuelson,; his parents, Earnest and Orphea Samuelson; his sister, Ellen (Uhrich) Fay; a brother, Kenneth. Cremation has taken place and a private graveside service will be held at Mountain View Memorial Park Cemetery.
