Eileen Zanatian

Eileen May Zanatian, 95, passed away on March 23, 2019 at the Davis Hospice Center in Cheyenne Wyoming, surrounded by her family. She was born on October 9, 1923, in Minden, Ontario, Canada to Frederick Beatty and Viola Mae (Kent) Wright. She married Charles Zanatian on November 20, 1960 in Detroit, Michigan. Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, friend and community volunteer, Eileen lived in Rock Springs for 40 years before relocating to Cheyenne, Wyoming in 2013. She was a member of the Episcopal Church of the Holy Communion, the Women's Club, and Past Worthy Matron of the Order of the Eastern Star, Mountain Lily Chapter #10. She is survived by her three children, Charlene Knezovich, Fred Zanatian (Carol) and Cheryl Hageman; five grandchildren, Hunter (Abby), Charlsey, Cara (Robert), Arrin (Hailee) and Samuel; seven great-grandchildren, Jett, Jaydan, Jesla, Maizie Mae, Hailey, Hadley and Archer, as well as her Cheyenne family by choice - MaryAnn and Barb Grunden, Cindy Stephenson, Dorothy Kouba, and Elaine Anderson. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Charles. A family celebration of life will be held in Rock Springs, WY later this spring.
