Eleanor Birgenheier-Mesa

Eleanor Birgenheier-Mesa, 70, of Cheyenne died December 11, 2014 in Cheyenne. She was born October 31, 1944 in Chicago, IL to Stewart and Ellen Stice. She married Juan Mesa on September 23, 1993 in Cheyenne. She was a social worker in the healthcare industry, and a member of the Jesus Christ and Latter-day Saints Church. She is survived by her husband Juan Mesa of Cheyenne; children, David Bush of Rawlins, Glendo Bush of Rawlins and John Paul Birgenheier of Cheyenne; siblings, Maryann Allred of St. George, UT, Lucy Marks of Sheridan, WY, Cindi Rogers of Laramie, Christina Keehnen of Cheyenne, and John Stice of Salt Lake City, UT and four grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Nathan Stice. Those who wish may contribute to the National Arbor Day Foundation. Cremation has taken place under the care of Schrader Funeral Home. Private family services will be held at a later date.
