Mrs. Elizabeth P. Adels, 90, of Cheyenne, Wyoming, passed away Tuesday, November 18, 2014, at the Cheyenne Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Adels was born October 7, 1924, in Venus, Pennsylvania, a daughter of the late Henry J. and Fannie (Korb) Novak. Elizabeth attended school in Grove City, PA, and graduated from Meadville High School in Meadville, PA, in 1942. She also attended Alleghany College in Meadville. She moved to Cheyenne from Kimball, NE, in 1983, and retired in 1985. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Cheyenne Knit-Wits, Eagles Auxiliary, and league pool. She is survived by her five children, Melode Olsen of Riverside, CA, Gary Adels of Riverton, WY, Craig Adels of Gillette, WY, Sandra Adels of Laramie, and Susan Hagan of Cheyenne; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and her companion, Marlin Lowry of Cheyenne. She is preceded in death by her parents; and her loving husband, Herman J. Adels on November 20, 1978. A memorial service will be conducted on Saturday, November 22, 2014, at 10:30 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church with Pastor Dan Hinton as preacher and Pastor John Christensen as officiant. An interment service will be held at the Cheyenne City Columbarium. Cremation is under the direction of Schrader Funeral Home.
