Elizabeth Allegretti

Elizabeth D. “Jib” Allegretti of Cheyenne passed away peacefully in her sleep on December, 26, 2010 at home. She was 83 years old. Elizabeth Deane Allegretti was born on October 10, 1927 in Colorado Springs, Colorado, the daughter of Carl and Anna Lemon. She attended Kingswood School in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan and later received her bachelor’s degree at Colorado State University. On November 1, 1972, she married Dr. Anthony J. Allegretti in Cheyenne, Wyoming. She belonged to the Women’s civic League, the Cheyenne Symphony board and AMA Medical Auxiliary. Elizabeth is survived by her stepson Dr. Dan and Leah Allegretti of Cheyenne, three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Anna Lemon; her husband, Dr. A.J. Allegretti and a brother, Richard A. Lemon. In lieu of flowers, family has asked that contributions be made to the Cheyenne Animal Shelter at 800 Southwest Dr. Cheyenne, WY 82007. Private family services will be held.
