Elizabeth Beckman

Elizabeth A. Beckman, 94, of Cheyenne died June 29, 2014 at Lifecare Center of Cheyenne. She was born April 10, 1920 in Greeley, CO to Karl and Mildred Winchell. She married A. Darrel Beckman on November 21, 1943 in Cheyenne. She taught school in Washington State and owned and operated Beckman Trailers with her family members for many years. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church and prayer groups and United Methodist Women. She was also a member of P.E.O. Chapter C, various bridge groups, and Ladies Club at the Airport Golf Course. She is survived by her children, Chris (Abby) Beckman of Albin, Katherine Wood of Cheyenne, Kurt (Alison) Beckman of White Rock, NM and Dave (Lisa) Beckman of Franktown, CO; grandchildren, Ken (Ivy) Beckman, Robbie (Brandi) Beckman, Davy (Leslie) Wood, Jon Wood, Arthur Wood, Adrienne Beckman, Scott Beckman, Darrel Beckman, Kevin Beckman and Kelly Beckman, 6 great grandchildren and a sister Mrs. Mary Lamming of Riverton, WY. She was preceded in death by her husband, Darrel Beckman and her parents. Memory Services will be Friday, July 11, at 11:00 a.m. at the First United Methodist Church.
