Elizabeth McNiff

Elizabeth "Beth" McNiff, 67, of Cheyenne died June 2, 2012 in Cheyenne. Beth was born December 24, 1944 in Cheyenne to Robert and Elizabeth Caldwell. She married Peter McNiff on September 2, 1967 in Cheyenne. Beth was a managing partner of the D.R. Whitaker Ranch and enjoyed being a member of The Wyoming Stock Growers Association, The American National Cattlemens Association, The Laramie County Cowbells, as well as The Cheyenne Fronter Days Wheels and Cheyenne Frontier Days Old West Museum. A loving wife and mother, Beth is survived by her husband, Peter McNiff of Cheyenne, children, Niffy (Chris Edward) McNiff Bube of Steamboat Springs, CO, John Whitaker McNiff of Cheyenne and Wann Caldwell McNiff of Steamboat Springs, CO; grandson, Jack Warrick Bube of Steamboat Springs, CO; sister Mary (Ed) Weppner of Cheyenne; nephew, Robert Weppner; nieces, Ginny Weppner and Tricia (Chris)Tarantola and a Grand niece Isabella Tarantola. Those who wish may contribute to the Cheyenne Animal Shelter, 800 Southwest Dr., Cheyenne WY 82007. Memorial services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, July 7, 2012 at St. Marks' Episcopal Church. Cremation has taken place under the care of Schrader Funeral Home.
