Ella Ackerman

Ella Mae Ackerman, 86, of Cheyenne died December 25, 2014 at Davis Hospice Center. She was born January 23, 1928 in Rifle, Colorado to Glen W. and Violet E. McNary. She was a secretary for the State Department of Agriculture. She could be found frequently at auctions and garage sales. She is survived by her children, Linda (Doug) Brunner of Cheyenne, Greg Randles and Doug (Polly) Randles of Las Vegas, NV; step daughter, Sharon Kelly of Cheyenne; 12 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren and by her special canine friend, Elfay. She was preceded in death by her husband, Fay Ackerman, stepson Rick Ackerman, her parents and three siblings. Donations may be made to St. Joseph's Children's Home, PO Box 1117, Torrington, WY 82240. Memorial Services will be Friday, January 23, 2015, 10:00 a.m. in the Lakeview Chapel at Schrader Funeral Home with a reception to follow in the Schrader Reception Center. Private interment will be in Mountain View Memorial Park.
