Esther M. Kornegay, 95, of Cheyenne died February 23, 2015 at Cheyenne Healthcare. She was born February 1, 1920 in Wheatland, WY to James Albert and Vera Eva (Boyer) Pilcher. She was an investor in the housing market. She is survived by her son, Harley Q. Kornegay of Tucson, AZ and Cheyenne; grandson, Jeffrey Kornegay of Denver; sister and brother in law, Shirley and Russell Vaudrey of Georgia. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Hugh Kornegay; siblings, Dorothy Sutton, Richard Pilcher, Donald Pilcher and Betty Wilhelm. Graveside services will be Tuesday 1:00 p.m. in the Fairmount Mausoleum in Denver, CO. Services are under the care of Schrader Funeral Home.
