Ethel Horst

Ethel M. Horst, 85, of Burns, Wyoming passed away January 10, 2020 at her home surrounded by her loving family.

Ethel was born November 30, 1934 in Little Bear, Wyoming, a daughter of the late Clyde E. and Eneva L. (DuVall) Caster, Sr.

Ethel was baptized and confirmed on April 8, 1956 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Cheyenne.  She worked as a bookkeeper for Teton Construction.  She lived in Cody for a period of time and returned to Burns to live in 2011.  She was a life member of the Elks and was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Burns.

Ethel is survived by two sons, Monte (Deb) Horst and Leslie (Lisa) Horst; brother, Clyde Caster, Jr.; sisters, Ruth Vaughn and Jo Brooks; three grandchildren, Joni (Carmelo) Colon, Jacob (Ashley) Horst and Kaitlin (Jake) Buckhaults; nine great-grandchildren, Brittanie, Christopher, Alexander, Sara, Derreck, Nicholas, Chance, Levi and Joden; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband, Robert Horst; and sister, Jean Harding.

A funeral service will be conducted on Tuesday, January 14, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. at the Lakeview Chapel at Schrader, Aragon and Jacoby Funeral Home with interment to be held in Cheyenne Memorial Gardens.  A reception will follow at the Schrader Reception Center.
