Eva Martinez

Eva Neola (Daly) Martinez died January 1, 2011 at Cheyenne Regional Medical Center. She was born September 15, 1956 in Escalon, California to Larry C. and Shirley J. (Ralls) Daly. She married James M. Martinez on October 31, 1974 in Evanston, Wyoming. They lived in Rock Spring, Wyoming until June 1997, when they moved to Cheyenne. The second of 6 children, 3 brothers, Larry C. Daly and Nancy Osborn of Pinedale, Wyoming, Darrell W. and wife Dawndrea (Delgado)Daly and Erin W. Daly of Wright, Wyoming; 2 sisters, Jody Martinez of Livingston, Montana and Colleen Daly of Guernsey, Wyoming. She has 3 children, Angie Martinez and Chuck McNear of West Plains, Missouri, Lynn Martinez of Pekin, Illinois, and James C. and wife Tosha ”Nicki” Martinez of Cheyenne, Wyoming. Eight grandchildren, Teirra and Dustin of West Plains, Missouri; Tristan, Trevis, Tori, Tawney, James and Curtis all of Cheyenne. Four nieces and two nephews, nine grandnieces and nephews. Twelve Aunts and Uncles. Preceded in death by a son Jamie Martinez, both grandparents John and Marjorie (Corbin) Ralls of El Rancho Road, Wheatland. And Lawrence E. and Eva Mae (Throckmarten) Daly of Escalon, California with a number of cousins to many to mention. She loved camping, fishing, and gardening. She loved growing roses which she had many bushes growing in there yard. She loved to bowl, to collect hummingbirds and elephants. She was much loved and will be greatly missed by everyone, especially her family. Visitation will be Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be conducted on Friday at 2:00 p.m. at Schrader Chapel with the Pastor Don Giffin officiating. Cremation will follow at Schrader’s Sunset Park Crematory.
