Faye Grothe

Faye M. Grothe, 71, of Cheyenne died January 16, 2012 at Mountain Towers Healthcare. She was born September 9, 1940 in Republic County, KS to Mearle and Frances Morehead. She married Charles Grothe on January 28, 2000 in Cheyenne. She was a bookkeeper and a member of the First United Methodist Church. She is survived by her sons, William Rydell of Portland, OR, Mark Rydell of Antelope, CA, Richard Phillips of Cheyenne and Jason Phillips of New York City, NY; siblings, Tom Morehead of Denver, CO and Barbara Sturdevant of Enid, OK; and two grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Leonard Zeiler and Charles Grothe, her parents, Mearle and Frances Morehead, a brother, Mel Morehead and a sister, Betty Hendricks. Those who wish may contribute to the Alzheimer's Association or other related mental healthcare organization. Memorial Services will be 1:00 p.m. Friday at First United Methodist Church with the Reverend Elizabeth McVicker officiating.
