Floyd “Tex” Hebert, 73, of Deville passed away peacefully on June 15, 2023, in Cheyenne, Wyoming, with his wife by his side.
He was born on October 13, 1949, in LeCompte, Louisiana to Bill and Esma Hebert.
Floyd married Trudy Bodie on May 2, 1975.
Floyd was a God-fearing family man. He spent 2 years serving our country as an Airborne Combat Medic in Mainz, Germany. Soon after, Floyd began working at the Alexandria VA Hospital, where he met and married his beautiful wife, Trudy. They enjoyed 50 years together, of which 48 they were married. He will be remembered as a dependable person, always helping people when they were in need. He never stopped giving.
Floyd loved to spend his time hunting with his sons and fishing with family and friends. He never missed a NASCAR race or Denver Broncos/Nuggets game. In his later years, he spent all the time he could with his family.
He is survived by his wife Trudy, and his sons, John (Deanna) Hebert and William (Janet Coleman) Hebert; 3 sisters and a brother; and his 3 grandchildren, Robert, Cheyenne, and Victoria. As well as several acquired grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his sister, Carla, and his parents, Bill and Esma.
