Mr. Frank C. Chambers, 88, of Cheyenne, Wyoming, passed away Sunday, September 15, 2013, at the Cheyenne Regional Medical Center. Mr. Chambers was born June 5, 1925, in Oakley, Kansas, a son of the late Henry E. and Anna D. (Goss) Chambers. Frank worked as a dispatcher for the railroad. He offered a helping hand to anyone in need and volunteered for Meals-On-Wheels for 15 years. He was active in the Masonic Lodge and served as State Chaplain. He was also a member of the Order of Eastern Star for 60 plus years and served as Past Patron. He will be remembered as an avid fisherman, golfer and gardener. Frank is survived by his wife of 67 years, Peggy (Curry) Chambers of Cheyenne; and numerous nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, great-grandnieces and great-grandnephews. He is preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Harold and Dale Chambers. His family will hold services on Sunday, September 22, 2013, at 1:00 p.m. at the Cheyenne Shrine Club, 224 East Iowa Street, Cheyenne. Contributions in Frank's memory may be made to the Boys & Girls Club or the Shriners Children's Hospital.
