Deacon Frank E. Kokoczka, 76, of Cheyenne passed away September 22, 2017 at Davis Hospice Center. He was born November 23, 1940 in Jackson, Michigan to Frank and Emily Kokoczka. He married Nettie Fair on July 21, 1962 in Bronson, MI. He was a plant manager for General Chemical. He was a Deacon and member at St. Mary's Cathedral and a member of the Secular Franciscan Order and the Knights of Columbus. His interests included reading, classical music, making rosaries and grilling on the barbeque. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Nettie Kokoczka of Cheyenne; children, Robin (David) Cutting of Commerce City, CO, Emily (Jeff) Knapton of College Station, TX, Jacqueline (Tony) Kapushion of Erie CO, Jennifer (Dan) Cudworth of Boise, ID and Theresa (Quentin) Skinner of Buford, GA; brothers, Tom Kokoczka of Jackson, MI, John Kokoczka of Cypress, TX, Dennis Kokoczka of Las Vegas, NV and Robert Kokoczka of Jackson, MI and 11 grandchildren. He was preceded by his parents and an infant son, Steven. Those who wish may contribute to St. Mary's School or Davis Hospice Center A Vigil for the Deceased will be Thursday 7:00 p.m. at St. Mary's Cathedral. A Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated 10:00 a.m. Friday at St. Mary's Cathedral with interment to take place in Jackson, Michigan.
