Mr. Frank Lewis, 63, of Cheyenne, Wyoming, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, March 6, 2013, at the Cheyenne Regional Medical Center. Frank was born April 12, 1949, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, a son of the late Frank and Dolores (Watkins) Lewis, Sr. Frank was raised in Philadelphia and following graduation from high school, he enlisted in the United States Air Force and served in Alaska and was later assigned to F.E. Warren Air Force Base and resided in Cheyenne for the past 42 years. He worked for Union Pacific Railroad for approximately 14 years as a brakeman. His love for music and playing games such as dominoes, cards and Yahtzee made him many friends, and it was common to hear him singing while entertaining friends and spending time at home with his wife, Jossie. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend, and he will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. Frank is survived by his loving wife, Jossie (Colon) Lewis of Cheyenne; eight children, Charlie Lewis of Philadelphia, PA, Eric Lewis of Philadelphia, PA, Ramin Lewis of Cheyenne, Daniel Gonzalez of Waybill, NC, Brandon Lewis of Cheyenne, Christopher Gonzalez of Wellington, CO, Ashley Lewis of Cheyenne, and Shirley Lewis of Cheyenne; a sister, Bernice Jones of Philadelphia, PA; and numerous grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Dolores Lewis, Sr. Cremation is under the direction of Schrader Funeral Home.
