Frederick Rosenquist

Fred T. Rosenquist, 78, of Redwood City, CA and a part time resident of Cheyenne, WY passed at the Davis Hospice center on Thursday April 11th in Cheyenne. After a battle with lung cancer he had extreme reactions to the cancer treatments that cut his life short. He was born in San Francisco, CA on Dec 13, 1940 to the late Fred T. Rosenquist Sr and Dorothy Clayton. Fred was in the Air Force and after going to college worked as a Mechanical Engineer until his retirement 17 years ago. He worked at Asyst technologies designing Robotic wafer handling equipment and had many patents for his work. Fred had many interests, including rock hounding, antique bottle collecting and antiques. It was all about finding that special piece. He loved early American country antiques and did shows in California, including the California Country Show in Los Altos, CA. Fred took numerous trips to the east coast with his family to look for antiques. He and his wife, Beverly, have been dealers in Antiques Unlimited in San Carlos, CA for 21 years. Fred is survived by his wife of 54 years, Beverly; his daughter, Brenda Morgan and her husband Robert Morgan III, and their 3 children, Liam, Abigail and Scarlett. He is also survived by his dad, Ray Vannoy; his sisters, Millie Vannoy and Jamie Willson; his uncle Jack Foster; nieces Deborah Nolan and Victoria Murphy; nephews, Jeromie and Nic Rosenquist. He is also survived by cousins, Dick and Marge Mabie, Pat Snook and Jerry Mabie. He is preceded in death by his father Fred Rosenquist, Sr.; mother, Dorothy Clayton Vannoy; and his brother Jerry Rosenquist. Private family services have been held under the care of Schrader, Aragon and Jacoby Funeral Home.
