Gary Cumming

Gary John Cumming, 72, of Cheyenne, Wyoming, passed away in Granbury, Texas on November 26, 2017. Gary was born on October 11, 1945 in Spokane, Washington to Leroy and Violet Cumming. Gary graduated from Shatel Park High School in Spokane, Washington. After high school he attended Community College in Spokane. Gary proudly served in the United States Army and was a diver where he had two tours of duty in Vietnam. Gary was an avid outdoorsman. He loved to hunt everything including elk, deer, bear, pheasant, antelope and grouse. He also loved fishing and his favorite was fishing for Walleye Pike. Gary is survived by his loving wife, Theresa Cumming; his mother, Violet Walle, stepmother, Nita Cumming; children Krystal , Allen, Ami and Wesley; 11 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; brother, Jerry (Stephanie) Cumming; sisters, Sharon Johnston, Christine (Jane) Walle, Susie (Mark) Corbett and Barbara Hill; and many nieces and nephews. Gary was preceded in death by his father, Leroy Cumming; stepfather, Chris Walle; and grandson, Gabriel Shorky. A memorial service will be held at 1:00p.m.on Friday, December 29, 2017 at the Lakeview Chapel at Schrader, Aragon and Jacoby Funeral Home. Interment will take place at Mountain View Memorial Park. The family will be hosting a reception in the Schrader Reception Center following the interment. Condolences can be made on line at www.schradercares.com.
