Gene Gancze

Gene J. Gancze, 77, of Cheyenne passed away June 9, 2018 at Cheyenne Regional Medical Center. He was born May 22, 1941 in Boyd, MT to Joseph and Alice Gancze. He married Suzanne Vines on September 2, 1966 in Cheyenne. He was a Vietnam Veteran having served in the U.S. Air Force. He was a technician for Amoco Pipeline. He was a member of the First Christian Church and was very active with Boy Scout Troop #115, having served as Assistant Scoutmaster. He is survived by his wife, Suzanne Gancze; sons, Richard (Irma) Gancze and Shayne Gancze; grandchildren, Chelsea, Ethan, Emily, Hannah and Jonah Gancze; and 2 great-grandchildren all of Cheyenne. He was preceded by his parents and siblings, Carol and Alvin. Services will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at First Christian Church. A private interment of his urn will take place in Mountain View Memorial Park.
