George Chaffin

George David Chaffin, 65, of Cheyenne died December 7, 2014 at Davis Hospice Center. He was born November 22, 1949 in Cheyenne to Tallie and Ruth Chaffin. He married Lisa Randall on June 5, 1998 in Cheyenne. He was a broadcaster in Cheyenne for many years and was a member of the First Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Lisa Chaffin of Cheyenne and their child, Mallissa; great-nieces they are raising, Alyssa and Taylor Thomas of Cheyenne; his former spouse, Judy Chaffin and their children, Angeleigh (Adam)Byers of Cheyenne, Tallie (Jennifer) Chaffin of Golden, CO; grandchildren, Austin, Darren and Stephen Byers, Skylar, Carolyn, Talon and Drayden Chaffin; siblings, Sheri (Doug) Johnson of Cheyenne and Jimmy Chaffin of California. He was preceded in death by his parents and a grandson, Cameron David Byers. In lieu of flowers, donation may be made to the Davis Hospice Center or the Pay It Forward Fund at ANB Bank, for Mallissa's educational needs. Memorial services will be 1:00 p.m. Friday at the First Baptist Church. Services and cremation are under the care of Schrader Funeral Home.
