George Walker

Cremation will take place at Schrader’s Sunset Park Cremation. A private family service will be held at a later date. Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 8, 2010, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Schrader Funeral Home. Mr. George Gilbert Walker, 29, of Cheyenne, Wyoming, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, August 2, 2010. George was born July 9, 1981, in Tacoma, Washington, a son of Gypsy J. and Deloris (Lambert) Walker. George was adventurous and an avid outdoorsman. He loved hiking, fishing, camping and other outdoor activities, but he was a cyclist at heart, riding cross country numerous times. He was currently employed at Cheyenne Regional Medical Center as a custodian, and more recently he was establishing his own commercial and residential cleaning business called G.L. Cleaning. He will be remembered as a generous and caring person, always willing to help someone in need. George is survived by his mother, Deloris Walker of Wheatland, WY; two brothers, Gypsy L. Walker of Wheatland, and Joseph E. Walker and wife, Whisper, of Cheyenne; and two sisters, Mandy Martinez and husband, Rey, of Cheyenne, and Margaret J. Walker of Cheyenne.
