Georgeann Bastian

Georgeann Bastian, 85, of Burns died July 6, 2012 in Burns with her family and her kitty by her side. She was born July 7, 1926 in Burns and lived in the Burns area prior to living at Moran. On May 20, 1945 she married John J. Bastian. Mrs. Bastian was a member of P.E.O. Chapter BA, Cheyenne, Burns Chapter #47 O.E.S. and also a member of the Presbyterian Church. She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Shirley Bastian; and a daughter and son-in-law, Janet and Leo Smith; six grandchildren. Sonia Maher, Chad Smith, Steven Bastian, Brenda Lovercheck, Chad Martinez and Todd Martinez, and eight great grandchildren. Mrs. Bastian was preceded in death by her husband John J. Bastian; her parents, Edison B. and Emma C. (Alexander) Good; a son John E. Bastian and a sister Jewel Good. A graveside service will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Pine Bluffs Cemetery. A Funeral Service will follow at the Burns Presbyterian Church at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday with Rev. T. Gwyn Downing officiating. Services are under the care of Schrader Funeral Home.
