Gerald R Benson

Jerry 79, of Cheyenne passed away on March 6th at Life Care Center of Cheyenne. He was born June 17th, 1943 in Denver, Co.  and was adopted by Emil and Dora Benson. He worked as a Print Press Operator, and was a member of the Denver Police Reserves. In 1976 he relocated his family to Fort Collins. Jerry operated and later owned AA Auto Wash, and was a member of the Fort Collins Police Reserves. In 1998 he went to work for Spradley Barr as their parts driver. In 2015 Jerry retired and moved to Cheyenne. He was a member of the Lighthouse Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his three wives Mardis, Shirley, and Sharon, son Mike, stepdaughter Kim, Grandson Nico and his parents.

He is survived by his two sons, one daughter, two stepdaughters, Sister Kathy, Brother-in-law Dick, as well as numerous grandkids and great grandkids.

Memorial service will be held at the Lighthouse Baptist Church March 25th at 12:00pm.
