Gertrude Jones

Margret Jones, 83, passed away September 30 at her home in Cheyenne with loved ones by her side. Her strong will fought a long battle with heart issues. She was born October 27, 1927 in Cheyenne and had lived here the majority of her life. She attended Cheyenne schools and graduated from, the "old" Central High School. She worked for the Cheyenne Credit Bureau and retired from the State of Wyoming Worker's Compensation Division. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church and enjoyed the honor of becoming a Deacon and playing the hand bells. Margret was a wonderful seamstress and she had an incredible talent for crocheting. She enjoyed participating in craft shows and her greatest love was spending time with family and their activities. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, sister, and brother-in-law. She is survived by her son, Lawrence (Debra) Jones; her daughter, Karolyn (Ken) Bare; grandsons, Troy Bare and Phillip Jones; granddaughters, Tonya (Brian) Rentner and Rachel (Warren) Kerrigan; great granddaughters, MaKaylah Rentner and Fiona Kerrigan; great grandson, Declan Kerrigan; a nephew, Dennis (Becky) Brosius and niece, Ruth (Ed) Rodriguez. Visitation will be held Tuesday, October 4th at Schrader Funeral Home from 12:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 5th at First Presbyterian Church with the Reverend Diana Hartman officiating. Cremation will take place following the service.
