Gloria Lemons

May 12, 1943 — April 5, 2022

Our beautiful Gloria Lemons “Peggy”, 78, received her wings on April 5, 2022, in Cheyenne, Wyoming.

She was born May 12, 1943, in Greeley, Colorado to Elmer and Gloria Cain, who preceded her in death.

Peggy married Glenn Lemons on May 21, 1960, at Truth or Consequences New Mexico.

She is survived by one son, Bobby Lemons of Cheyenne; two daughters, Sharyl Adams (Gary) and Michelle Martinez, both of Cheyenne; two brothers, David Cain of Chugwater and Elmer “Jitter” (Paula) Cain of Wheatland; three sisters Doris Clark of Texas, Gloria “Prency” Zepeda of Colorado, and Gloria “Punkie" Oglesby of Cheyenne; grandchildren Candace Lemons, Kodi Nicholson, Alex Nicholson, Ryan Gonzales, Isaac Lemons, Brandon Martinez, Nicholas Lemons, Melanie Lemons, Jeremy Lemons, Chase Lemons, and Kevin Urquidez; her fur babies, Draq, Baby, Boomer, and Dog, whom she loved so much, and numerous great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

She loved spending time with her family. She enjoyed her weekly outings with her grandkids going to lunch, getting ice cream, and going to the park. She enjoyed going to lunch or coffee with her sisters and spending holidays with family playing games and enjoying the day. She loved to go camping and fishing and would enjoy the peacefulness of the lake and trees. She loved to cook and shared her talent with her children. She enjoyed dancing, coloring, sewing, crafts, and made many things including two money necklaces as graduation gifts.

She always wore her rings and earrings, no matter where she went or what she was doing.

She was a very kind soul with a little sass and spunk and has left us with so many memories and will be missed so greatly.

Cremation services are under the care of Schrader, Aragon, and Jacoby Funeral Home, 2222 Russell Ave., Cheyenne, WY 82001

A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00am on Friday, April 15, 2022, at Lakeview Chapel at Schrader, Aragon, and Jacoby Funeral Home.
