Gloria Montoya

Gloria L. Montoya, 71, of Cheyenne passed away May 9, 2016 in Cheyenne with her family at her side. She was born July 26, 1944 in Las Vegas, New Mexico to Cresencio and Raquel Arellano. She married Sosteno Montoya on January 27, 1962 in Cheyenne. She had been employed by Wyatt Manufacturing and Unicover. She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church. She is survived by her husband, Sosteno Montoya of Cheyenne; daughters, Sylvia Perez of Colorado Springs, CO, and Angela Palma of Cheyenne; granddaughter, Crystal Palma of Cheyenne; and a sister, June Arellano of Cheyenne. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Nelson Arellano, Walter Arellano, Max Arellano and Lawrence Arellano and a sister, Sofia Arellano. Vigil for the Deceased will be 6:00 p.m. Thursday in the Lakeview Chapel at Schrader, Aragon and Jacoby Funeral Home. Funeral Liturgy will be 2:00 p.m. at St. Joseph's Catholic Church. Interment of her urn will follow in Olivet Cemetery.
