Greg Litecky

Our kind and loving son, brother and friend, Edward Greg Litecky, departed this world on July 25, 2011. Greg was born September 28, 1959 in Cheyenne and graduated from Central High School in 1978 where he played on the golf team. He remained close to all of his teammates and high school friends all the days of his life. He received a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from the University of Wyoming in 1984. He then returned to Cheyenne and became partners in his father's business, Engineered Products Limited, where Ed and Greg worked and played together as best friends. In 2008, Greg felt the need to get closer to golf, and in his words, "did what I should have done as a teenager"... went to work for the Warren Air Force Base Golf Course. While he was just thinking this would be a summer job, he was so well liked that he was hired full time. His golfing buddies will tell you that he learned the golf course well and took full advantage of his knowledge. In 2011, Greg was invited back to the engineered products business and went to work for Powers Products as a Project Manager. He was very thankful to have the opportunity to perform the same job his father had 50 years prior. Throughout his life Greg amassed friends from all walks of life. He cherished friendships and family and the love Greg gave was always returned equally. Greg is survived by his mother, Maxine Litecky of Cheyenne; sister Sharon Daly and husband, Mark, of Cheyenne; trusted friend, Dennise Kelly; and his dog, Dot and bird, Henry. He was preceded in death by his father and best friend, Ed Litecky. Pallbearers will be Mark Daly, Brett Guidotti, Phil Lane, Mark Millan, Stan Stefanik, Dave Stowe and Kenny Tottenhoff. Honorary pallbearers will be Dick Hartman and all of the friends he accumulated over the years. Visitation will be held Friday, July 29, 2011, from 10:00 a.m. until 5:00 p. m. at Schrader Funeral Home. A Vigil for the Deceased will be held Monday, August 1st at 7:00 p.m. in the Schrader Chapel. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 2nd in the Schrader Chapel with Father Rob Spaulding officiating. Interment will follow in Lakeview Cemetery.
