Harold Connour

Harold Connour, 77, Cheyenne, Wyoming, died Saturday, October 22nd surrounded by his family. Harold was born in Payson, IL, on April 27, 1939, to Vessie and Cora Connour. He graduated high school form Galesburg High School and joined the Air Force and was stationed at F. E. Warren AFB where he met his wife, Janett. They married May 29, 1960. After a brief time working and living in the panhandle of Nebraska, Harold's family moved back to Cheyenne in 1967 and Harold went to work at Wycon Chemical where he retired after 31 years. He later went to work for Laramie County School District #1 as a school bus driver, retiring after 12 years. Harold enjoyed spending time in the mountains, his "bus Kids", family birthdays and gatherings. Harold leaves behind his wife of 56 years, Janett (Gulick); daughter, Brenda Badgley (Kenneth); son, Rob Connour (Marsha); and grandchildren, Kendall, Kyle, Brayden, Cole and Becky. Harold is preceded in death by his parents and three brothers. A memory service will be celebrated on Thursday at 2:00 p.m. at Lakeview Chapel at Schrader, Aragon and Jacoby Funeral Home with a reception to follow at the Schrader Reception Center.
