Hazel Cloyd

Hazel M. Cloyd, 100, of Cheyenne died September 10, 2012 at Life Care Center of Cheyenne. She was born July 20, 1912 in Cheyenne to George & Anna McCann. She married Raymond Cloyd on March 9, 1940 in Cheyenne. She was a retired seamstress. She enjoyed and excelled in ceramic making, sewing clothes & draperies and all types of needlecrafts as well as interior decorating. She was a 4-H leader and a member of Over the Top Extension Club for many years. She is survived by a son, William R. Cloyd of LaPorte, TX; eight grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Cloyd; children, Joan Louise Parrill and Ronald T. Cloyd; her parents; 2 brothers and 3 sisters. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may contribute to the First Christian Church or Davis Hospice Center. A memorial service will be held 4:00 p.m. Saturday in the Schrader Chapel with Pastor Cindy White officiating. Private Interment of her urn will be in Beth El Cemetery. Cremation has taken place under the care of Schrader Funeral Home.
