Helen Gregorio

Helen Gregorio, 69, of Cheyenne passed away June 2, 2019 at Cheyenne Regional Medical Center. She was born July 30, 1949 in Cheyenne to David and Bessie Espinoza. She married James J. Gregorio on December 27, 1971. Mrs. Gregorio worked as a nutrition educator for many years, and was a homemaker and volunteer. She was a devout Catholic and served as a catechist at St. Joseph's. Her most favorite "job," however, was caring for her grandchildren. She is survived by her devoted husband, James "Jimmy" Gregorio; children, James D., Richard (Wendy), and David (Amber) Gregorio; grandchildren Andrew, Evan (Moriah), Kenny, Luke, Gabriel, Olivia, Justin, Danielle, Lucas, and Brady; siblings, John, Allen, and Edward Espinoza, Delores Garcia, Isabelle Hernandez, Mary Knight, Veronica Trefren, and Lenora Plata. She was preceded by her parents, David and Bessie, and siblings Mary-Louise, Daniel, Teresa, Josephine, and Virginia Espinoza. A Vigil for the Deceased will be Monday, June 10 at 6 p.m. at St. Joseph's Catholic Church and a Funeral Liturgy will be held June 11, 2019 at 6 p.m. at St. Joseph's Catholic Church. A special thank you and acknowledgement to the Fischer family for everything they did for Helen during her long illness.
