Helen Ruth Jackson, 92, of Cheyenne, died February 22, 2016, at Davis Hospice Center. Helen was born January 1, 1924, in Essexville, MI. She and her family moved to Cheyenne in 1950 and ran the Luxury Diner. Helen married Thomas Robert Jackson on January 24, 1953, and together they had two daughters, Valerie and Robin. Helen was part owner in a clothing store, The Trendsetter, with her daughter Valerie. She was also an Avon representative for many years. Helen loved to travel, play golf, dance, and enjoyed spending time with her family. She is survived by her daughters, Valerie (Robert) Rodekohr of Cheyenne and Robin (Alex) Camarillo of O'Fallon, Missouri; her five grandchildren, Jill (Chris) Girany, Janae (Casey) Ruppert, Ryan Rodekohr, Eric Camarillo, and Nicole Camarillo; her great grandchildren, Cameron, Ethan and Clay Ruppert, and Sophia and Paxton Girany; her niece and nephew from Michigan, Sharon McCoy and Dale Zarbaugh. Helen was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas, her parents, Edward C. and Ella Rose (Maloney) LaFond; her sister and brother-in-law, Dorothea and John Zarbaugh; and her niece, Janice Enriquez. Memorial services will be held in the Lakeview Chapel at Schrader, Aragon & Jacoby Funeral Home on Friday, February 26, 2016, at 3:00 p.m. Family will receive friends following the service at funeral home. Helen will be missed by family and friends. Memorials can be made to Davis Hospice Center.
