Herbert L. Hinesley, Jr., passed away February 11, 2019. He was born April 28, 1933, in Omaha, Nebraska, to Herbert and Marna Hinesley. Herb and Dolores were married on June 12, 1954, in Chicago, Illinois and the couple moved to Cheyenne, Wyoming in 1955, where they resided ever since. Together, they created the Hinesley Haunted House, east of Cheyenne. Herb retired from the State of Wyoming Department of Administration and Information. Being very knowledgeable with carpentry, mechanics and electronics, he could build, repair or update almost anything. He loved fishing, hunting, camping, riding his motorcycle, playing cards and board games with family, telling goofy jokes, and driving his 1927 Chevy truck to eat at Perkins. He was an avid backyard squirrel/bird feeder and watcher. Nothing in life was better than family, cookies, French silk pie and ice cream! He is survived by his three children, Leah (Hinesley) Bratton, Herbert LeRoy Hinesley III, and Maryellyn (Hinesley) Gross; four grandchildren, Cheryl (Bratton) Maddox, Ralph Duane Hayes III, Vanessa Ann Hayes, and Melissa (Hayes) Burrows; and six great-grandchildren, Chase Maddox, Allison Hayes, Avalyn Hayes, Rowan Hayes, Braden Burrows, and Grayson Burrows. Being a very loving and caring dad, grandpa, and great grandpa, his family misses him. No memorial services will be held. Herb will be interred near his beloved wife Dolores, and son Jeffrey Hinesley, in Cheyenne Memorial Gardens.
